Kelton Students Compete At Ft. Worth and San Angelo Stock Shows

Addy Kimbro, 6th grader at Kelton ISD, competed with her goat, Flyer, at the Wheeler County Jr. Stock Show and the San Angelo Stock Show.  Flyer won Grand Champion at the WCJLS and Addy won Jr. Showmanship.  Addy went on to San Angelo and placed 7th out of approximately 42 entries.  She received Premium Money for her placing.Addy Kimbro, 6th grader at Kelton ISD, competed with her goat, Flyer, at the Wheeler County Jr. Stock Show and the San Angelo Stock Show.  Flyer won Grand Champion at the WCJLS and Addy won Jr. Showmanship.  Addy went on to San Angelo and placed 7th out of approximately 42 entries.  She received Premium Money for her placing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kaleb Kimbro, 10th grade student, competed at the Wheeler County Jr. Livestock Show and won Reserve Champion with his goat Bud.  Kaleb also won Sr. Showmanship at the WCJLS. Neely Davis is in the 5th grade class at Kelton.  She showed her heifer, Royal, who was the Grand Champion Maine.  Neely also showed a Shorthorn steer named Bandit, who placed 8th. Kash Long, 7th grade Kelton student, showed his heifer Sheca.  Sheca placed 2nd out of 25 in the ORB class.  Kash placed 8th with his Polled Hereford steer Switch.
